Meet Dr. Geena Buono

Dr. Geena graduated from Life University Chiropractic College in 1992 and has been practicing ever since. She has been practicing in Asbury Park and in 2017 took over the office that is connected to Jersey Strong in the Seaview Square Mall. Her MAXWellness center is welcoming and warm. Dr. Geena is committed to excellent care and takes time with each patient.

Dr. Geena is a proud parent of 3 adult children, a musician who plays with her own band "Geena and Dragster", an avid basket ball player.

Meet Heike Zelnhefer, LCSW

Heike immigrated from Germany in 1990 and recently joined my practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is specialized in trauma therapy, loss and grief therapy, and integrates alternative modalities such as Aromatherapy, Hypnotherapy, Tapping, and Reiki into her sessions. Heike works closely with the transgender community in the area. She also writes assessments for therapy pets, immigration / deportation issues, as well as gender confirming surgery.
